World Building

This project is perhaps the greatest testament to my love for world building. It is also the longest project I’ve ever worked on. This work uses Minecraft as a platform to construct a world, and I am freely able to invite other players to inhabit this world with me. Many of the locations I construct in this world are inspired by World Heritage Sites, such as Petra, shown on the lower-right image. As I build each location my head is filled with different stories specific to each area. From nations, to cultures, to history, I am able to dump everything I think about in this blocky world which is so much fun. I’m hoping that I could branch off this story to other mediums of art as well, such as comics.
