From youth, character design has been an almost meditative practice for me. This character book alone hosts 500+ original characters. Not just a remnant of fun, these sketches are records of my thought process that sculpt my stories and design. In many instances, the small sketches are frames of a larger story I have playing in my head, therefore the sketches are drawn really quickly, some where between 15 seconds to 2 minutes. This daily practice has strengthened my ability for visual expression and has shined in instances when visual communication is crucial such as in storyboarding or group-held brainstorming.
